Exhibit A Packet 12 Patents 2026-04-29 Final

Exhibit A — 12-Patent Face-Page Election Packet

Litman v. Goldberg, Index No. 524343/2025 (NY Sup. Ct., Kings County)

Date prepared: April 29, 2026 | Format per Plaintiff's playbook | FILING-READY (live data filled in 2026-04-28)

Why these 12

Per a live USPTO Open Data Platform (ODP) API query on 2026-04-25 (memory file project_post_sol_aor_split.md), the universe of NGM patents granted on/after 2024-07-21 under NGM Customer Number 37833 totals 462 patents. Of those, Plaintiff is the AOR on 12 (2.6 %); Joshua B. Goldberg on 449 (97.2 %); James Lafave on 1 (≈0 %).

The same firm. The same staffing. The same time window. Yet 12 patents elected Plaintiff by name on the front page. Each of the 12 is a deliberate, considered choice — not a system default. These 12 are the natural Exhibit A set; every one scores 4/4 on Plaintiff's rubric:

The 12 Exhibits

Ex. A-1 — US 12,043,608 (issue 2024-07-23)

Caption. Native eGrant front-page (Bates LITMAN000012) + IFW row_id b00b6151-ded0-46ee-a653-681e1ca9e227 (2024-07-23T04:00:00Z, EGRANT.PDFDigitally signed official patent eGrant document) showing attorney/agent = "Nath, Goldberg & Meyer; Richard C. Litman"; correspondence email = (not present on eGrant face page; CN-37833 → litman@4patent.com per IFW filing receipt); CN-37833 = yes.

Justification (≤35 words): Native face page lists "Richard C. Litman" as attorney of record in the (74) line on a CN-37833 grant; 1st of 2 same-day KFU face-page elections in the post-SOL window where 449 sister CN-37833 grants elected Goldberg.

Ex. A-2 — US 12,043,609 (issue 2024-07-23)

Caption. Native eGrant front-page (Bates LITMAN000023) + IFW row_id f2fceea5-805e-475a-a018-b884b202a35c (2024-07-23T04:00:00Z, EGRANT.PDFDigitally signed official patent eGrant document) showing attorney/agent = "Nath, Goldberg & Meyer; Richard C. Litman"; correspondence email = (not present on eGrant face page; CN-37833 → litman@4patent.com per IFW filing receipt); CN-37833 = yes.

Justification (≤35 words): Same-day issuance with Ex. A-1 (both KFU, both face-page Plaintiff); paired publication is direct empirical proof of an editorial decision per docket; both came from the same Lafave-typed PTOL-85B campaign verified in PTOL_85B_ELECTION_VERIFICATION.md.

Ex. A-3 — US 12,049,459 (issue 2024-07-30)

Caption. Native eGrant front-page (Bates LITMAN000033) + IFW row_id 9419d8a4-c5e7-427a-a678-4fa00914572f (2024-07-30T04:00:00Z, EGRANT.PDFDigitally signed official patent eGrant document) showing attorney/agent = "Nath, Goldberg & Meyer; Richard C. Litman"; correspondence email = (not present on eGrant face page; CN-37833 → litman@4patent.com per IFW filing receipt); CN-37833 = yes.

Justification (≤35 words): Third KFU face-page election in eight days; PTOL-85B Box 2 typed by Lafave in the same campaign that produced Ex. A-1 and A-2; establishes consistent decision-maker and Goldberg supervisory role.

Ex. A-4 — US 12,054,460 (issue 2024-08-06)

Caption. Native eGrant front-page (Bates LITMAN000043) + IFW row_id 21aabb0f-e0fb-4d5d-9b92-f168bb4d4ffd (2024-08-06T04:00:00Z, EGRANT.PDFDigitally signed official patent eGrant document) showing attorney/agent = "Nath, Goldberg & Meyer; Richard C. Litman"; correspondence email = (not present on eGrant face page; CN-37833 → litman@4patent.com per IFW filing receipt); CN-37833 = yes.

Justification (≤35 words): Goldberg personally signed the POA seven months before issue (2024-01-16); resulting front-page election names Plaintiff; documented split between POA signer (Goldberg) and (74)-line attorney (Plaintiff) inside one matter forecloses any "I did not authorize" defense.

Ex. A-5 — US 12,054,464 (issue 2024-08-06)

Caption. Native eGrant front-page (Bates LITMAN000054) + IFW row_id cc3c9259-0226-449c-abaf-a5ccd25b1c16 (2024-08-06T04:00:00Z, EGRANT.PDFDigitally signed official patent eGrant document) showing attorney/agent = "Nath, Goldberg & Meyer; Richard C. Litman"; correspondence email = (not present on eGrant face page; CN-37833 → litman@4patent.com per IFW filing receipt); CN-37833 = yes.

Justification (≤35 words): Same-day issuance as Ex. A-4 (both KFU, both Goldberg-signed POAs, both face-page Plaintiff); paired exhibit demonstrates per-patent election decision applied to two simultaneous matters under the same supervising attorney.

Ex. A-6 — US 12,062,780 (issue 2024-08-13)

Caption. Native eGrant front-page (Bates LITMAN000066) + IFW row_id 1110d6cd-d6b8-4eb3-9a8a-ff18f02b8eeb (2024-08-13T04:00:00Z, EGRANT.PDFDigitally signed official patent eGrant document) showing attorney/agent = "Nath, Goldberg & Meyer; Richard C. Litman"; correspondence email = (not present on eGrant face page; CN-37833 → litman@4patent.com per IFW filing receipt); CN-37833 = yes.

Justification (≤35 words): POA signed by NGM partner Jerry Meyer; resulting face-page elects Plaintiff; per-patent election made by NGM staff regardless of which partner authorized the POA, defeating any "Goldberg alone made the choice" carve-out.

Ex. A-7 — US 12,065,424 (issue 2024-08-20)

Caption. Native eGrant front-page (Bates LITMAN000075) + IFW row_id 1cd0bcb9-4d9b-4f43-a348-a65ae21e9597 (2024-08-20T04:00:00Z, EGRANT.PDFDigitally signed official patent eGrant document) showing attorney/agent = "Nath, Goldberg & Meyer; Richard C. Litman"; correspondence email = (not present on eGrant face page; CN-37833 → litman@4patent.com per IFW filing receipt); CN-37833 = yes.

Justification (≤35 words): Sibling matter to Ex. A-2 (same chemical family, same client, same NGM docket prefix family); face-page imprimatur on Plaintiff repeated across the sibling set amplifies the endorsement signal under § 51.

Ex. A-8 — US 12,071,437 (issue 2024-08-27)

Caption. Native eGrant front-page (Bates LITMAN000086) + IFW row_id 2fcf2804-c89c-4f3a-b4d7-7e42dbc0dd71 (2024-08-27T04:00:00Z, EGRANT.PDFDigitally signed official patent eGrant document) showing attorney/agent = "Nath, Goldberg & Meyer; Richard C. Litman"; correspondence email = (not present on eGrant face page; CN-37833 → litman@4patent.com per IFW filing receipt); CN-37833 = yes.

Justification (≤35 words): Largest face-page footprint in the set (16 pages) under the AOR "Richard C. Litman"; Goldberg-signed POA seven months prior; volume amplifies the public association on the date of issue.

Ex. A-9 — US D1,046,141 (issue 2024-10-08)

Caption. Native eGrant front-page (Bates LITMAN000113) + IFW row_id d54d7047-0135-449e-987d-7fdd4f8c5c94 (2024-10-08T04:00:00Z, EGRANT.PDFDigitally signed official patent eGrant document) showing attorney/agent = "Nath, Goldberg & Meyer; Richard C. Litman"; correspondence email = (not present on eGrant face page; CN-37833 → litman@4patent.com per IFW filing receipt); CN-37833 = yes.

Justification (≤35 words): First design-patent face-page election of Plaintiff in the post-SOL set; design grants are independently published in the USPTO Design Patent series, providing a separate publication channel beyond utility patents.

Ex. A-10 — US 12,114,620 (issue 2024-10-15)

Caption. Native eGrant front-page (Bates LITMAN000116) + IFW row_id 32b836a5-a711-4b2e-813d-6eb617a44407 (2024-10-15T04:00:00Z, EGRANT.PDFDigitally signed official patent eGrant document) showing attorney/agent = "Nath, Goldberg & Meyer; Richard C. Litman"; correspondence email = (not present on eGrant face page; CN-37833 → litman@4patent.com per IFW filing receipt); CN-37833 = yes.

Justification (≤35 words): First and only KISR face-page election in the set; per project_kisr_payment_gap.md, this is the docket where NGM paid only 6.9% of billings while continuing to publish under Plaintiff's name; face-page imprimatur paired with documented financial asymmetry.

Ex. A-11 — US 12,116,333 (issue 2024-10-15)

Caption. Native eGrant front-page (Bates LITMAN000129) + IFW row_id fb67046c-70ab-4871-b3a6-a2582309f725 (2024-10-15T04:00:00Z, EGRANT.PDFDigitally signed official patent eGrant document) showing attorney/agent = "Nath, Goldberg & Meyer; Richard C. Litman"; correspondence email = (not present on eGrant face page; CN-37833 → litman@4patent.com per IFW filing receipt); CN-37833 = yes.

Justification (≤35 words): Same-day issuance with Ex. A-10 across two different ME-clients (KFU + KISR); per-patent face-page election applied client-agnostically; choice driven by NGM internal workflow, not client direction.

Ex. A-12 — US 12,194,434 (issue 2025-01-14)

Caption. Native eGrant front-page (Bates LITMAN000139) + IFW row_id 38637acc-d004-49c2-8b6c-ab6c3b086868 (2025-01-14T05:00:00Z, EGRANT.PDFDigitally signed official patent eGrant document) showing attorney/agent = "Nath, Goldberg & Meyer; Richard C. Litman"; correspondence email = (not present on eGrant face page; CN-37833 → litman@4patent.com per IFW filing receipt); CN-37833 = yes.

Justification (≤35 words): Anchor exhibit; last of 12 post-SOL face-page elections; two-child Litman face-page chain (parent app issued 4/30/2024 as US 11,969,708, also Plaintiff face-page); listed "On Hold" by Goldberg in 12/30/2022 KSU status doc, then published Plaintiff post-SOL twice.

Master Caption Block (for filing)

Plaintiff submits the following twelve eGrant face pages as Exhibits A-1 through A-12, each issued on or after July 21, 2024, each filed under NGM Customer Number 37833, and each listing Plaintiff Richard C. Litman as the attorney of record in the (74) line. The selected twelve constitute the entire universe of Plaintiff-AOR grants in the 21-month period — empirically proven by live USPTO Open Data Platform query on April 25, 2026 — out of 462 NGM-Customer-37833 patents granted in the same window. The remaining 449 patents in the same universe and the same 21 months elected Joshua B. Goldberg in the (74) line, demonstrating that NGM had, and routinely exercised, the firm-wide capability to make a per-patent election; the twelve face-pages of Plaintiff are therefore each a deliberate, per-patent commercial use of his name without consent under New York Civil Rights Law §§ 50-51.
